Three popular rivers to fish in Aberdeenshire are the Don, Deveron and Dee. Excellent trout fishing can be found on the River Don, as well as good salmon fishing in autumn, and the River Deveron is best known for runs of large sea trout.

Banchory is a popular place to fish the River Dee. Although famous for its salmon fishing, the River Dee also provides excellent sea trout fishing.

Fishing in Moray

Many people visit Moray to fish the well-known River Spey, but there is also superb fishing to be found on the nearby River Findhorn.
