Christmas at Delgatie Castle has world-wide appeal: 27-28 November and 4-5 December 2010

Step back in time and enjoy a Victorian Christmas celebration at Delgatie castle.

The Victorians made Christmas a family celebration, and Delgatie Castle’s Victorian Christmas is the largest event of its kind in Northeast Scotland, attracting local residents, visitors from around UK and international tourists.

The castle will be adorned throughout with traditional holiday decorations, and castle staff will be dressed in elegant Victorian costume.

A traditional Christmas table will be on display, and the classic carol, The Twelve Days of Christmas, will be performed.

The castle’s famous ‘Lairds Kitchen’ will be open throughout the day serving delicious sweet and savoury delights including home-made mince mincemeat pies and Christmas pudding.
